Insect Repellant - make your own the natural way

It’s bug and bite season…why not make your own insect repellant – it’s less toxic!

Gather supplies: glass measuring cups, wooden spoon, measuring spoons, and clean spray bottles. 3/4 cup good quality witch hazel 2 Tbsp filtered apple cider vinegar 3 tsp of citronella essential oil 1/2 tsp of lavender essential oil 1/4 tsp eucalyptus essential oil 1/4 tsp geranium essential oil 1/4 tsp peppermint essential oil 1/4 tsp lemongrass essential oil 3/4 grapeseed oil

Measure out the witch hazel and vinegar. Mix well. Then add your essential oils. Mix well. Slowly add the oil in a stream form and gently stir with a wooden spoon. Make sure the mixture is well blended before pouring into spray bottles. Label and date bottle or bottles. Shake bottle well before use. Reapply as needed. Warning:  Smells good. Bugs don't like it.
