Mariluz's Healthy Snack Bars

Botanical - Fruit - Cherries on tree

Since most cookies and health bars sold in the grocery store are
high in sugar and other unhealthy ingredients, why not make your own.
Why not make this a family project? All you need are some measuring cups, food ingredients,
food processor, and a 9 inch square baking pan. This recipe is high in calcium, too,
great for growing bones.
Mariluz’s Healthy Snack Bars
1 cup sesame seeds
1 cup walnuts
½ cups pitted dates
½ cup apricots
½ pitted prunes
1 ½ cups Thompson’s raisins
Raw honey
Add dried fruit, nuts and seeds to food processor and pulse ingredients until mixture holds together when pressed – if it doesn’t add a tablespoon of raw honey. Press mixture into pan. Chill. Cut into squares to serve. A little goes a long way.
Peace and good health,

Coach Mariluz
